The presentation topics included the requirements and architecture; ontology modelling; generic components and business logic; industrial application and validation; tool development and platform integration & demonstration; communication, training, dissemination and standardization; and business modelling and exploitation. Interesting and insightful Q&A sessions and discussions were common at the end of each presentation.

Contribution of TVS in the JIDEP Project

Technovative Solutions Limited (TVS) is developing the Joint Industrial Data Exchange Platform integrated with the material passport, environmental analytical tool, circularity tool, and collaborative space for the automotive, wind energy and e-waste industries. During the review meeting TVS demonstrated the prototype of the JIDEP platform and discussed it’s potential business model. TVS’s CEO Dr. Fahim Chowdhury stated, “JIDEP is not just a platform; it's a catalyst for a connected and data-driven industrial future. By integrating data exchange, circularity calculations, and collaborative features, JIDEP empowers industries to make informed decisions, drive innovation, and shape the future of industrial data.“

About JIDEP

JIDEP (Joint Industrial Data Exchange Platform) is a digital space where industrial data is available for sharing and connecting manufacturers from different sectors into a collaborative, mutually beneficial knowledge and data-sharing relationship. It brings industry-oriented collaborative spaces supported by decentralising blockchain network that will overcome trust barriers, non-repudiation, and self-sovereignty of identities and data ownership. The project adopts a coherent approach to semantic communication between diverse actors, aiming to make direct and indirect contributions to the EU circularity and carbon neutrality goals of 2050.

This project has received funding from Horizon Europe Research and Innovation under grant agreement number 101058732.
