We are thrilled to announce that Technovative Solutions LTD (TVS) has secured yet another significant Horizon Europe-funded project: BASE-BAttery Passport for Resilient Supply Chain and Implementation of Circular Economy.

We are thrilled to announce that Technovative Solutions Limited (TVS) has secured yet another significant Horizon Europe-funded project: BASE!

BASE stands for the BAttery Passport for Resilient Supply Chain and Implementation of Circular Economy.

This win takes us a big leap ahead of the recent European Union initiative to boost the growth of the EU battery value chain, given the current status in the industry!

What is BASE? BASE stands for the Battery Passport for Resilient Supply Chain and Implementation of Circular Economy. The project will be funded under the call ”HORIZON-CL5-2023-D2-02-03: Creating a digital passport to track battery materials, optimize battery performance and life, validate recycling, and promote a new business model based on data sharing (Batt4EU Partnership).”

Role of TVS in implementing the BASE Project: TVS is responsible for developing the Digital Battery Passport (DBP) platform in BASE, which will be validated in cross-sectoral applications e.g. road and water-borne transport, and stationary energy storage applications.

BASE is a follow-up of the four of TVS’s ongoing EU H2020 and Horizon projects:

Albatross Project H2020 (Advanced Light-weight BATteRy systems Optimized for fast charging, Safety, and Second-life applications) - next generation and realisation of battery packs for BEV and PHEV, where we have set up the requirements for the EV battery passport;

JIDEP (Joint Industrial Data Exchange Platform) - where we are validating the digital product passport (DPP) in the automotive, wind energy and e-waste industries;

RESTORE (Sustainable Remanufacturing solution with increased automation and recycled content in laser and plasma-based process) - where we are validating the DPP in the automotive, rail, marine, and steel manufacturing;

ALABAMA (Adaptive Laser Beam for additive manufacturing) - where we are validating the DPP in the aeronautical, marine, and automotive industries.

This remarkable achievement is a paradigm of our commitment to continuous innovation and sustainability. The project aligns seamlessly with our mission to revolutionize technology, while fostering a circular economy for a greener future.

As we embark on this groundbreaking journey, we look forward to contributing to a more resilient and sustainable future.

The project will be funded by the Horizon Europe Framework Programme under the call ”HORIZON-CL5-2023-D2-02-03.
