From 1 to 3 October 2025, Technovative Solutions Ltd (TVS) participated in the UK–Spain Horizon Europe Brokerage Visit on Fast Tracking Circularity, held in Bilbao, Spain. The event, organised by Innovate UK, CDTI, and Innobasque, brought together leading innovators, researchers, and businesses from both countries to strengthen collaboration under Horizon Europe’s Cluster 4: Digital, Industry and Space.
Representing TVS, Dr Mohammad Azizur Rahman, Director (Technical), joined the UK delegation of research and industry leaders to explore opportunities for advancing circular innovation through data-driven digital technologies. His contribution centred on demonstrating how Digital Product Passports (DPPs) developed by TVS can accelerate circularity, enable traceability, and support sustainability compliance across industrial ecosystems.
Showcasing Digital Leadership in Circular Innovation
At the brokerage sessions in the Torre Iberdrola, Dr Rahman presented TVS’s ongoing work on DPP-enabled traceability and digital lifecycle management. He emphasised how these technologies are transforming material and product tracking across value chains, providing real-time visibility and empowering industries to adopt circular and sustainable business models.
Through project experiences such as BASE EU, EcoPlast, JIDEP, RESTORE, ALABAMA and GEAR-UP, TVS has built a strong reputation for developing interoperable and scalable solutions that align with the European Union’s digital and environmental objectives. These initiatives use advanced analytics, blockchain, and AI-driven frameworks to deliver measurable impact in carbon reduction, resource optimisation, and data transparency.
Strengthening Collaboration Across Borders
The event provided an excellent opportunity for TVS to engage directly with Spanish research organisations, technology centres, and industrial partners working in materials, manufacturing, and energy sectors. Through interactive sessions, company pitching, and speed networking, Dr Rahman discussed how collaborative R&I projects can integrate DPP solutions to address circularity challenges across multiple industries.
The “Bridges over Bilbao” networking reception further reinforced these connections, creating a space for meaningful dialogue and partnership building. Discussions focused on aligning technical expertise and developing joint proposals for upcoming Horizon Europe Work Programmes (2026–27) targeting circular materials, de- and remanufacturing, and resource-efficient production systems.
Driving Europe’s Transition Towards a Circular Future
As a digital innovation company, Technovative Solutions Ltd is committed to developing solutions that enable circularity and sustainability across global value chains. Participation in the Horizon Europe Brokerage Visit reflects TVS’s broader mission to collaborate internationally, harness data for impact, and co-create digital ecosystems that support Europe’s transition towards a resilient and net-zero economy.
Through continuous engagement with international partners, TVS will continue to play an active role in shaping the next generation of Digital Product Passport technologies, ensuring industries have the tools, insights, and transparency needed to fast-track circular innovation.
