Our focus is aimed at building trust within the healthcare ecosystem using blockchain-based solutions & architecture, federated learning, machine learning, and AI.

Early Detection of Cancer
We are advancing AI-guided diagnostic systems using multimodal data to detect various cancers earlier than traditional methods. Our platforms detect early signs of breast-, colon-, and lung cancers from histopathological and radiology images; and identify skin cancer from dermoscopy images.

Early Detection of Dengue
Dengue is a mosquito-borne viral infection that is prevalent in tropical and subtropical regions and endemic in over 100 countries. Severe cases may cause internal bleeding, organ damage, shock, or even death. Early intervention is critical in saving lives. TVS is developing an AI-guided ‘Dengue-AI’ system to identify critical stages in Dengue patients so that the optimal treatment can be administered to them.

Disability Analysis among Children
Early detection of physical, cognitive, social, and language developmental delays in children is crucial for their growth; yet many go undiagnosed due to inconsistent screening, resource constraints, and delays between parental concerns and medical evaluations. TVS is developing ‘PhyMedAI’, which uses advanced computer vision techniques to analyse and measure body poses and angles for early identification of physical disabilities.

Early Detection of Diabetic Retinopathy
Diabetic Retinopathy (DR) is one of the most common and serious complications of diabetes mellitus. It can cause blindness if not detected early. Traditional diagnosis is slow, costly, and error-prone. TVS is developing ‘OphthaAI’, an AI-powered tool to assist ophthalmologists in detecting DR quickly and accurately, improving patient outcomes and reducing the global DR burden.

A platform designed to enable secure, privacy-preserving data analysis and collaboration in healthcare using Armoured Federated Learning, ensuring compliance with GDPR and safeguarding patient data, allowing a highly scalable service platform for users.

Our Projects

PharmaLedger
The PharmaLedger project (EU Grant Agreement no. 85399) has been successfully completed in December 2022. PharmaLedger is a blockchain-based framework for healthcare, enhancing digitalisation and patient empowerment. In this project, TVS led tasks for distributed data Integration, processing, & sharing; IoT, personalised medicine, and supply chain integrity blockchain module while promoting blockchain adoption. TVS also managed the dissemination activities of the project.

TRUMPET
The TRUMPET (Trustworthy Multi-site Privacy Enhancing Technology) project (EU Grant Agreement no. 101070038 & UKRI Grant no. 10045746) aims to conduct research and develop innovative methods to enhance privacy in Federated Learning. TVS is leading the design, development, and implementation of the federated machine learning platform for privacy-enhanced clinical data in the project.

FLUTE
The FLUTE (Federate Learning and Multi-party computation Techniques for prostate cancer) project (EU Grant Agreement no. 101095382 & UKRI Grant no. 10078314) aims to enhance data-driven prostate cancer care through privacy-preserving cross-border data hubs. TVS is developing the FLUTE Platform, featuring dashboards, scalability, usability, performance validation, privacy protection validation, and comprehensive documentation and user manuals.

ENKORE
The ENKORE (Propelling the shift toward the future of circular, safe and sustainable packaging and single-use device solutions ecoDesigned through healthcare environments) project (EU Grant Agreement no. 101166707) aims to promote the development of new health products by integrating the principles of the Safe & Sustainable by Design (SSbD) framework, from the earliest design stages, and notably for packaging and device design including the end-of-life of a product. In the ENKORE Project, TVS will provide the ENKORE Suite of Services, where the team will design and develop cost and LCA models, circulatory calculator, ontology, and blockchain-based Digital Product Passport (DPP).
