FLUTE Final Workshop at Digital Health Innovation Forum 2026
The FLUTE Project will host its final interactive workshop at the Hasso Plattner Institute Digital Health Innovation Forum, focusing on how federated learning and privacy-preserving AI can support the development of predictive healthcare systems while protecting sensitive health data.
The workshop will explore why new solutions based on federated learning are essential in modern healthcare, particularly when working with distributed datasets across hospitals and countries in secure and compliant environments.
Bringing together researchers, clinicians, innovators, and policymakers, the session will address key challenges related to data governance, legal frameworks, clinical integration, and patient trust, with a specific focus on applications in Prostate Cancer.
Designed as a highly interactive experience, the workshop will combine short presentations with co-creation exercises, where participants will work in groups to identify barriers and define practical needs for adopting AI-driven predictive systems in healthcare.
The session will also showcase solutions developed within the FLUTE project, demonstrating how collaborative and privacy-preserving approaches can unlock the potential of health data while ensuring compliance and trust.
Concluding with an expert panel discussion, the workshop will provide a platform to exchange insights on the future of trustworthy AI in healthcare and to reflect on the impact and next steps of the project as it enters its final phase.
Supported by the European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA), the event represents a key milestone in advancing secure, collaborative, and innovative digital health solutions across Europe.
