The JustSafe (Justice-Oriented Strategies for Social Adaptive Risk Management) project (EU grant agreement no. 101215174) aims to design and implement just and inclusive strategies for enhancing climate resilience and digital transitions, prioritising the most vulnerable and marginalised social groups such as the elderly, children, women and girls in all their diversity and individuals with disabilities who disproportionately suffer from climate change impacts.
TVS is developing an Impact Assessment Tool to evaluate resilience efforts and a Learning Management System (LMS) focused on climate resilience education for communities and professionals. We are also tasked with creating a Volunteer Information Management System (V-IMS) to coordinate local volunteering capacities, integrating JustSafe’s digital solutions with existing platforms such as CLIMAS and Citizen Tone, building a Centralised Data Hub for knowledge sharing and cross-regional collaboration, analysing financial sustainability and corporate climate responsibility strategies, and establishing the Just Climate Resilience Observatory for Businesses (j-CROB) to involve private sector stakeholders in climate adaptation efforts.
